- Images and Text: Label images and text extracted via OCR. To do this, the app will request your explicit permission to access your device's Camera or Photo Library. We only access and process the specific images you choose to submit.
- Product Metadata: Product name, brand name, ingredients, allergens, nutrition information, net quantity, target markets, language details, and other label-related fields.
- AI Artifacts: AI-generated interpretations, translations, suggestions, review results, and generated PDF exports or label documents.
- Drafts: Saved and in-progress label projects stored in your history.
Important Note: You should avoid uploading images or text containing unnecessary personal data (such as photos of individuals or personal notes) that are not required for commercial food label review.
Usage and Technical Data
We automatically collect diagnostic and usage metrics to ensure app stability:
- App usage events (e.g., label generation count, free trial usage, and feature engagement metrics).
- Device identifiers, app version, operating system, crash logs, and diagnostic data.
- Standard security log data needed to operate, secure, and debug the service.
Payment and Subscription Data
Paid subscriptions are processed safely via third-party payment infrastructure or app store providers (such as Apple App Store or Google Play Store). TradeLabelAI does not collect or store full credit card numbers or payment credentials. We retain only subscription metadata (status, plan type, renewal status, and transactional identifiers) to manage your app permissions.

AI Data Protection Guarantee: We utilize enterprise-grade API agreements with our AI vendors. This means your submitted label data, images, and text are processed strictly to generate the app's output and are never used by third-party AI providers to train, improve, or tune their public AI models.
User Responsibility: AI output can contain errors or misinterpretations. TradeLabelAI is a professional efficiency tool; you remain fully responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating all generated label information before using it for commercial production, legal compliance, packaging, printing, or distribution.

10. Deleting Label Data and Account Data
TradeLabelAI puts you in control of your data footprint by offering self-service privacy actions directly inside your account settings:
- Delete Label Data: Permanently removes your saved label historical records and generated PDF drafts from our servers while preserving your active app account and subscription status.
- Delete Account: Triggers the total erasure of your user profile, authentication references, and linked label history. Once processed, this action is final and the data cannot be recovered.
11. Data Security
We implement robust technical and organizational security controls designed to prevent accidental loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of your data. This includes end-to-end encryption of data in transit (via HTTPS/TLS), restricted access environments, and secure user authentication tokens.
